Savages a cultural experience camping with the Huaorani community
During this trip we will have the opportunity to share with one of the most genuinely indigenous communities of the Amazon Rainforest, the Huaorani community. This ethnic group had its first contact with the modern world in the 1950’s, before that they lived like nomads hunting, gathering and fishing in perfect harmony with nature. Nowadays there are around 2,400 Huaoranis distributed in 24 villages living in a territory of 680,000 ha (1.7 million acres).
